TPM in spare ?

Thinking about rotating my tires, and using the spare in the rotation.
Car: 2006 G35 sedan with 17s (full size spare).
I'd like to know if the spare has a tpm, and if it does, will it have to be programmed if that tire goes on.

Thanks

not sure if your spare has it, but you can take the tpms sensor out of the existing wheel that you are switching out, and put it on your spare. there should be any programming involved

Just look at the stem. If it's metal like the rest, then it has the TPM sensor. The system does not monitor the spare and will have to be reprogrammed. Did this full size spare come from the factory? I thought it all came with the donut spare.

Thanks for the info.

All sedans with 17s came with a full size spare if you got the Premium C package.

From looking at the manual, it looks like it does comes with the sensor, but states to have it reset by Infiniti if used (Maintenance DIY section). Makes rotating in the spare not so feasible anymore. Bummer.
