Where To Find Warranty And Your Experiences?
Might be buying a used 03' G35 from a friend and I'm looking into purchasing an extended warranty if one is available. It's an auto/coupe and has 68K miles.
Do they offer a reasonable warranty (quality + price) for this mileage?
Do you guys recommend a warranty with this mileage?
Where can I find prices?
Thanks in advance for any responses.

The extended warranty is a good idea with that many miles. I would suggest an Infiniti Elite warranty but pass on any 3rd party warranty. It might not be cheap with that many miles. I got a 3yr/36,000 on my 04 for $1075 with zero deductable, but I only had 25,000 miles at the time. Give it a try. Call the finance dept of the dealership at Infiniti. They usually deal with the warranties. Good luck.

Bumpity Bump.
As far as I know you can buy your Infinity Elite Extended Warranty from any Infiniti dealer and still be covered, so I am interested in knowing where people price hunted and got theirs.
I am getting into a 2005 G35x with just under 22K on it, so I have 10 months and around 38000 miles before my bumper to bumper runs out.
Also I am assuming there are also "Extended Maintenance plans" Any feedback on if these are generally worth it? I like changing my own oil etc (except in winter) especially with an older low-milage vehicle, did not know where a good range on brake even is.
Thanks

I'm also exploring warranties and curious what makes dealer warranties better tan 3rd party? I know I should get an extended warranty, I just want to make sure I get the best one. AAA offers one as well [https://www.corpmsc.com/Splash_Warranty.aspx] Any ideas on how to compare?
The dealer also mentioned this thing called "MyTire Expert Tire and Wheel SHIELD." Apparently for $600 my tires get covered for up to $350 and wheels for $700. That also includes mounting and balancing up to $50. That apparently covers me for road hazards, punctures, and if it happens in the allotted time, even wear and tear. Any thoughts on this program?
Thanks!
