Eh big problems with the G..

OK my G35 is veering to the left alot, so i took it to dealership and they said the frame or something was off, and i should take it to a body shop.

So finally i took it to a body shop (ATX in bergenfield), and they said that pretty much eveything is f****

my control arms are gone, i need new suspension, struts pretty much..

Dont think my car every fully recovered from accident 3yrs ago.

What should i do? I dont feel like spending $5k to fix my car..

Maybe someone has a JUNk G35 i can take parts from and pay for it.lol

sell the car? who will buy a car with frame damage?

I was thinking of trading it in to a dealership.. they dont look under cars right? so they wont notice the extent of damage they'll just think alignment is ****ed..

infiniti ****ed me over numerous times might as well **** em over..

Or i could file a claim through insurance, just say i hit a bump and frame got damage, insurance goes up by few hundred a year but in long run will be cheaper

Had the same problem with a 5 liter Mustang years ago. After an accident the car pulled. I had it back to the shop, and they said nothing could be done. I had 4 wheel alignments, and nothing helped. I finally took it to the oldest alignment shop in San Diego and they looked and looked. Literally seconds before they were ready to call it hopeless, they discovered that the accident had shifted the engine cradle. They charged me a hundred bucks and put some jacks and chains on the frame and tugged and tugged. THEY fixed it and the car drove like it was designed. IF that isn't enough, the insurance company paid to have it fixed.

Take your car to an old, well established alignment/frame shop and ask to have the engine (or possibly the rear) cradle checked. Sounds like the same thing.

Good luck.

I was in an accident about 3 years ago. I ran over a 6 inch high curb going about 40mph with the brakes fully pressed, the steering turned all the way to the right and the tires locked.(understeer is a Bia**) There was a lot of damage... about $6000 worth. They had to basically change out the wheels, whole suspension and steering system. I never reported it to the insurance because i didn't want my insurance to go up and i didn't think it was gonna cost that much. Even after getting everything fixed the car was never the same again.

I recently traded it in with almost 100K miles on it. Now this might be because it has so many miles on it, but the dealership didn't even look at the car. They just asked me what kind of equipment was on it. They didn't ask me about accidents or if it had any problems so I didn't tell em.

Hopefully they'll just look at your car and not do a checkup.
