car doesn't start!
so i just got back from afghanistan and my car hasn't been driven in over a year. Family was too lazy to start it up every now and then and also didn't disconnect the battery like i had asked them to.
last night after seeing my car for the first time in such a long time i was soo freaking happy. i was jumping around and yelling and crying and laughing... it was so beautiful. and then it all came crashing down after it didn't start. we tried jumping it but nothing would turn over, battery was completely dead.
so we charged it over night and the battery works fine now. however, it still doesn't turn! all i get is a ugly loud clicking sound instead of the engine cranking up. car doesn't start and i'm sooo sad.
so i thought i'd bring it to you guys before taking it to the dealership. anybody have any idea of whats going on?

First off, thanks for serving.
Your battery is probably dead though. Just because it turns on the lights and accessories doesn't mean there is enough juice to start the car, thus the clicking sounds. Take it down to AutoZone and they will test it for you for free to confirm. While you're there, pick up a bottle of fuel treatment because your gas is pretty stale too.

Deployments
Hey man I know what it's like to deploy and come home to the G.
During my last two deployments I put mine on blocks and add fuel stabalizer (Sea Foam). I also had to get a new batter after my last deployment.
It is SOOOOOOOOOOOOO SWEEEEEEEEET to drive that car after being in the sandbox. MAkes you feel like a KING!! And thankfully we have much nicer roads here than most of the kings and princes over there
