Angry soft paint...What about soft glass?

I've read alot on here about soft paint that chips easily but what about the windsheild glass?

As of tomorrow I will have had my 06 coupe for a total of 1 month.

In that time I have acquired 3 chips on the windshield. One the day after I bought it and 2 more in the last week. I had my last car for 10 years and I think I only had 1 in all that time.

I have either been very unlucky in the last month or something is not right with this glass.

My insurance covers mobile glass repair free of charge as long as the windsheild doesn't need a complete replacement. I have them coming next week to fix the 3 but I really hope i don't have to have them coming out every month.
