Issue: smells like a burnt candle

'03 G35 Sedan A/T.
Guys I noticed the other day after a little bit of spirited driving that a smell was coming into the cabin when the ac/heater was on that best resembles a burnt candle. I stepped outside the car and it seemed to be coming somewhere from the engine bay/front end of the car, but I was not able to pinpoint the location. Today I went for a far more conservative drive, and the smell came after about 20 minutes. Any insight guys?
Thanks in advance.

Check to see if you ran over a plastic bag and it stuck to your exhaust. If that's the case get used to it, it will take a while for the plastic to burn off completely. Had that happen to me a few years ago. The bag stuck to the exhaust pipe, between the muffler and the converter. Smelled like a burning candle for about three months.

UPDATE: It turns out a plastic bag was stuck to the cover of one of my catalytic converters. I used a "brill pad" type attachment and a drill to get it off while the car (and exhaust system) was warm. I'm happy now

Wow Mr.GEE, you're psychic. Good info.

Now, can you tell me how many kids I'll have?
