Alright so I bought my G 2 weeks ago almost.. i bought it it had 87000Km and i really love it, i paid 25500+1700$ 3 year 30000km waranty... its my dream car cant deny anything about it.. but now today I just found another car in calgary, 22000km, White, 6spd, black leather, sport package, for 28500$ from a dealer with warranty available.. im just feeling kinda depressed now seriously.. can u guys cheer me up somehow.. Also i seen some pictures and it has a different center console? Me I have kind of a lil panel u push a button and theres cupholders in it.. and then in that one theres like a sliding thingy and humm a freakin elbo rest console seems?? Whats the difference?? Different option package? oh and the button for the heated seats are on the front instead of the back like mine.

you have an auto center console. the 6mt has a different one with a slider. as for your car, you should have come on here a long time ago and did some research on prices. the guys here would have pointed you in the right direction. anyway, don't fee bad. chalk it up to a life lesson and enjoy your car. it has been your dream car, and now you have it. in ten years, you wont even remember this.

 

The sliding cup holder is for 6MT, cup holder with a button is for 5AT.

 

It doesnt make sense i got a 6MT boys.. ill take some pictures of the center console, it has the push button compartment.. well i guess whatever..

 

I don't understand why you bought the extended waranty. Is not the factory waranty still in force till 96700+ Km? In the states it lasts for 60K miles.

 

well cuz I got a 1000$ rebate on it or not.. haha but yeah no the warranty was done because its 5 years from buy date or 100 000km 2 more months and no more warranty.. and i want at least powertrain, if i wreck a diff or my VQ at least itll get replaced

its definitely what i was thinking when i woke up this morning.. i love my G.. for some reasons she always tells me to grab another gear tho is that a manifacture defect or?? haha.. it was for sure the best deal i found at the time i guess.. everytime i come on this forum, i go for a drive when i sign out lol.. it feels so damn good

 

P.Money, be happy with the car you bought. In two weeks you will see another car that you really like. If you want a G, you have to jump in and grab it while you can.

If you are that unhappy, see if you can sell it, and then go after the G of your dreams.

By the way, the 03 model year 6MT's had two different consoles, the one with the arm rest is the 03.5 version........

I like the console i have better for some reasons.. i was just wondering if it was a different option or something but yeah no im keepin my g.. parts on the way already so..i tinted the windows on it.. next time i pickup a new G its probably gonna be in 3-4 years we ll see what kind of other cars are out by then..

you only had the car 2 weeks? take it back and tell them you don't want it, Don't you have a 30 day warranty or something...I know some dealers are like that
