6MT here... this is one of the reasons I bought the car. my criteria was 6MT, rwd, good looking, less than $40k, and seats more than 2. there was no other choice out there

And +1 for 5AT! My WRX was manual and I loved driving it, but I specifically sold it to get something a little bigger, automatic and more comfortable.
