g35 dying after hard acceleration

I'm new just got this car tuesday n love it but am having a problem.
Twice after hard acceleration (passing), I let off the gas and push in the clutch to let the car coast down it has died.
Anyone have a guess what might b causing this?
I'd really appreciate any suggestions

Is the car modded? Aftermarket intake (CAI) or anything?

According to this thread, the Injen CAI has caused stalling for some people. There are also a couple of other ideas in the thread.

You don't need to put it in neutral at speed - that's the best remedy. In fact, you shouldn't. This started happening to me after I installed my intake. I just altered my driving style a bit so that I don't ever put it in neutral at speed. Voila.

yea its definately the CAI... I have an '04 6MT, and as soon as I put my Injen in, I had the same problem. I altered my driving style like somebody mentioned earlier. There's plenty of threads you can find relating to this. The reason it turns off is due to the turbulent air coming in. Anyways, they do sell a shield you can put on to eliminate this problem, but I'm not sure if it'll defeat the purpose of CAI. Either that, take the intake off, or adjust your driving. I noticed it only happens when you put the car in neutral going past 40mph...
