I just wanted to know if there are any specific or general questions to be asked to a private owner of a 04 g35 i'm going to go check out. I don't wanna be clueless...car has 33xxx miles on it....he wants 22500....how low should i go? i was thinking under 20000?He also said there was some rattling just from driving it...should i be worried?

 

all the normal stuff. service records, any previous damage, any body work,did he drive it like it was a race car, etc.

i just bought an '04 coupe with 44,000 miles last month for 18k in near perfect condition. Just had to replace the windshield (big scratch from wiper blade that fell off). Ran me about $230.

 

seems like everywhere in the Bay people want 22-23gs for 04's with 30-45k miles...18000 seems like a steal to me...i don't think people realize the economy sucks *** right now

 

yeah i just got my 04 with 53k on it for 20.5k$, but i mean i got the brembos and black leather with power everything.. just no navi. as far as looking at anything, the rattling is pretty normal i guess, there's lotsa threads on rear rattling.... other than that, ask him about the oil consumption....
