I recently paid off my car about two weeks ago, but still have not received the pink slip.

Does anyone know what's the average wait once the car is paid off?

I called my bank but they said they are not responsible for mailing out the slip. I would have to talk to the DMV.

 

did you take a loan from the bank?if you did then the bank should have your title..cause once you finish paying the loan the bank should send it to you within 2 weeks..

 

The loan from the bank. I did call them and they said it will be sent from the DMV.

 

call the bank and talk to a loan officer not the receptionist. the receptionist is an idiot paid to answer phones not give advice on your car.

 

Yes...Once the loan is paid off...the bank will endorse the title and send it to you in 2-3 weeks. at the max....thats what happened to me.

 

just do your thang and talk to the loan officer get your final answer ..or probably ur just too excited..be patient and youll get the title..then you can come and pay mine off...
