Paint Change....?

This may sound strange on Driver but pick up the August issue of Hot Rod mag, there's a four page article on current paint trends. On page 37 there's
a blue pearl in the upper left hand corner that would look killer on a G! You
wouldn't have to worry about being a copy cat....

Just make sure you do the engine bay. IMO nothing worse than a great color with the engine bay nine miles off. I could live with a black under hood cause back in the day it was done a lot. Im a painter and wanted to do a color change but I dont wanna get into the death sentence of work to do a proper prep in there. I would pick something close and re jamb the car and leave the bay alone. You could kandy or pearl the body lines to create a color flop.

nope, it's not illegal... it illuminates amber and can be seen from quite a far distance (I think CFR requires 100 feet, which these do easily) that’s all the law requires... the reflection is because the pic is taken form about 6 inches away - its a side marker so there isn’t anything that will reflect in a danger to motorist...

Now if you are referencing danger form reflection if the entire car was painted like this?... I don’t know - actually I don’t think it reflects any more than a car with Zaino and a good detail.
