W.n.e./n.e.s./e.s.w.
I believe there is an indicator letting you know which way you are heading... like a dot or something... the center letter indicates the direction you are mostly heading, however the dot would read on the left or right to indicate a NE or NW... don't read them all together, just the center and the one by which the dot is located!
W - N E
Heading NW....
W - N E
Heading NW....
if the thread is full of "FAIL"(you fob) don't read it.
anyway, can you elaborate on the rattling noise issue, that only one I've seen posts about on this forum is for the oil consumption defect, and I just had my car checked up at the dealership and they did the whole inspection thing on it.

these cars, like most other cars have rattles.. if it annoys you, take it to the dealership to get it checked out with a technician. if it isn't horrible, don't waste your time as they probably wont be able to do anything lol
"WNE
THE PHUCKING ARROW IS IN THE MIDDLEEEEE. SOOO that means hes going NORTH. If he turns left he will be going WEST and if he turns right he will be going EAST.. S is not shown unless makes a turn.. SOUTH is behind him.
For instance.. it states WNE.. arrow is in the middle because hes going north.. me makes a left turn and starts heading WEST.. the compass will then put the W in the middle and it should read SWN.... If he turned right instead and started heading EAST the E would be in the middle and should read NES (nintendo entertainment system).
and thats your explanation

well touche. I forgot about the dot on the G compass, the lexus just has a digital display that shows true direction...not a 'rotating' digital compass.

I knew about the compass, but on the other side of that display there are numbers that change all of the time. When I got in my car this morning it said something like 9:48 and then later this afternoon it said 2:25. What the hell is that thing? Is it my A/F ratio??
