I am looking for a little more growl in my 2008 6MT Sedan. I installed a z tube on my 05 G35 sedan 6MT and was happy with the result. Can I leave the stock filters and just get 2 new tubes minus the resonators? (After reading previous threads, it seems clear that the K&N drop ins do not deepen the sound.)

By the way, the car is awesome but the clutch is awful. Just my 2cents.
