bought a sedan :(

i asked a dealer friend of mine that i was looking for a g35. Told him to pick one up for me at a dealer only auction. FORGOT to tell him that i wanted a coupe! so the other day he calls me up and tells me he had bought an 05 4door sedan for me. Since he bought it for me and I had not told him what i wanted i had to buy it off him. ended up costing me around $19500. the car has around 39K miles on it. Do you guys think its a decent price???

Im not really feeling the car, might just try to sell it and buy a coupe....i dont know....im bummed!

$19,5 is not a bad deal. The sedan might grow on you too... We do weigh less, and believe it or not, there are some great looking sedans...

Mine...

Others...

And a few sedans that are faster than most coupes.

Sedans that have changed the front end to coupes...

4door is Hot.
don't be bummed, you will appreciate the 4 door, it will come in handy when you want to jamboni in the back seat or drove somewhere far and want to take a nap in the back seat without tilting forward the front seat.

Ya I don't want to offend any sedan owners out there, but IMHO the sedan should be called something else, not a G35. When someone mentions a G35, they are talking about the sporty, 2 dr. coupe. Just my .02. (now watch me get flamed by the sedan owners)

Congrats on the purchase of your sedan!

But I can see if you really wanted a coupe you would not be happy.

yea can you believe it....i FORGOT to mention that i wanted a coupe! not hating on the sedan, i like the way it drives....beats the hell out of the lexus es330 i used to have...that was just a grandma's car...hated it.

i should have researched the car a little more though...oh well...ill enjoy it till i can find a good deal on the coupe (just think it looks better)....that said, theres some pretty hot looking sedans here, i just dont want to drop money into something im not 100% satisfied with....

Also, i hope i dont get flamed for this....but to me, the G35 looks like the natural evolution of the nissan 300zx (my weekend car)...its a GT car on the same lines...any thoughts....

I would personally try to sell the car and get a car that you really love.

^^ exactly what i have in mind right now....how much would i be able to get for it though. Im assuming i got it a little less than the going market rate at 19500 for an 05 with 39k miles. Im not sure what comes as standard on these cars...but it has the bose sytem, heated seats and the friggin intelligent key that took me forever to figure out...is this what a premium package is?

I had a 2 door car before, and realized i missed the back seats (i hate having to get people in and out, so i never used it)....
