04 G35 Coupe or 05 G35 Sedan

I have found these two in my area and I am having trouble deciding.

Differences

Coupe
2004
19,900
Mileage: 24,000
Silver
Looks better IMO
Cassette player lol
Brembos (not sure if the newer brakes stop as well.)

Sedan
2005
18,900
Mileage: 36,000
Lakeshore (not too keen on the color)
More HP (probably negligible)
Four Doors
Less Insurance maybe?
I hear the interior is better in the 05.

I am having trouble deciding between the two and opinions would be appreciated.

Pretty sure you are going to get the coupe owners voting coupe and the sedan owners voting sedan.... for me, I say go with the one you think looks the best. I got a black coupe when I really wanted DG, but I am now LOVING my OB Coupe! Don't settle, there will be plenty of cars that fit exactly what you want, just look until you find the one that works best!

^I agree with him. However I am not biased so I will state my opinion. I do not have a G35 by the way. That is only a question you can ask yourself. No one can tell you, you want a coupe or vice versa. Answer the questions:

Is money an issue?
Do I need 4 doors?
Do I want a rev up motor?(Only 6MT 05+ have rev ups)
Do I want great brakes?(More expensive to take care of but hold up better on the track)
Will more than 3 people be riding with me for a long period of time?
Do I plan on modding? If not, do I want/need the stock coupe sounding exhaust?

Personally, If they were both 6MT I would choose the coupe(that price is high by the way ~$1,000). Or if they were both 5AT I would choose the sedan since it has a better price. Hope I helped.

They are both Manual.

I am just having trouble since I hear that the 05s are much better than the 04 minus the Brembo brakes.

I do ride a lot with my friends but I like the looks of the coupe way more, and I am sure they can get over having to squeeze into the back.

Here is the deciding factor than. Do you want more of luxury or performance?

04 coupe, assuming both are manual

REASON:
04 coupe is better looking
04 coupe has brembos
04 coupe weighs a bit less than 05 + sedan
04 coupe produces the same HP as any other g35 out there excluding the 07+sedan
04 coupe has better clutch pedal then the newer models
04 coupe has better seats
04 coupe is more of a "driver's" car

Just get the coupe u won't be disappointed.

For me the Coupe was twice as expensive to insure. The interior of the 05-06 is much nicer than the 03-04s.

coupe. lower mileage, better brakes (brembo > non-brembo, although more expensive to maintain), better color (per your preference), almost same price.

none as far as strait line is concerned. When it comes to handling the coupe comes with 0.5 inch shorter stance, better tires, better brakes. That means out of the box coupe is a better handling car at the track when both are pushed to their limits.
