I know this is an old post but I just have to shout out...Mine are stock tires and @ 61,000k the thread still look good...

BUT...the previous owner didn't fix the alignment so now one of the front tires is torn (visible fiber..)..I am really sad and scare when I had to drive 30 miles to the airport this morning..hopefully I will find myself some tires and get them replaced this Friday...
