want to trade in the 5at

well as the title says.. i want to trade in my 07 auto for an 07 manual. do you guys think this will be an easy task? my car is an 07 with everything but navigation.. retailed for 42 when i got it and i have 8600 miles on the car. i was looking into trading it in at the infiniti of cocunut creek where i bought my dg 07 5at and they have a white on tan one with 15000 miles for 31k. do you guys think my trade in value will be equivalent to that? thanks for the replies in advance. oh and btw i will be returning my car completely to stock before trading it in.

just keep your car, no need to trade it in.

Its no way they can give you that if they plan on selling it for around that. They have to make a profit. You cant compare your trade-in value for what the dealer is gonna sell it for. Also, since their is a new model year, there is a cap on what they can sell that for. Why would someone buy a G35 for for 30k-33k when you can buy a G37 for just a few G's more?

This is definitely more of a kelly blue book thing then asking ppl's opinions. Their opinions arent going to help you. Check out www.kbb.com

Well I actually traded in my 06 manual g35 coupe sports package for a 06 auto g35 coupe premium package at infiniti of sawgrass in FL. But I sort of had to hassle them to do the trade. I talked to one guy at first and he said I could not trade it in. Then I drove there and personally talked with a different guy and he allowed it. So i suggest you inquire about it at your local dealership.

Just make sure you get what color you want. I would much rather have a 5AT in the color I want than a 6MT in a color I don't really want.
