Any SoCal G35 drivers looking for a change?

Whats up everybody, this is my first post on here, so I just wanted to say hi first

anyways, I am posting to see if anyone on here is looking for a little change up in their garage. My dad has a silver 07 Audi A3 S-Line 2.0t with only 8k miles and I am wondering if anyone wants to do a straight out trade for a G35 Coupe of similar value.

Here is the story in a nut shell, a year ago, when my dad was shopping for a car, he was deciding between a G35 and the Audi and I kind of convinced him to get the Audi. But now he and I realize that the G35 would have been a better match. It a better mix of luxury and sport for him, while the A3 is a bit heavier in the "sporty" department.

So yeah, just wondering if anyone here would be interested in a trade? the A3 is a GREAT car if you have not driven it. I guarantee you will fall in love with the DSG transmission... it is really the most fun automatic transmission I have ever driven.

I can get some pictures up of the car if anyone wants. Totally stock, Silver paint, black leather, S-Line package, EXCELLENT CONDITION, practically new, and still has years left on the warranty (and pre paid maintenance plan)

thanks guys!

How is the Audi A3 "sportier"? The G is much faster and the skidpad results are about the same. I doubt your going to find anyone on here willing to trade, most people get rid of their G's for a bigger car family car, another project car (Mercedes AMG, porsche, etc.), or a GT-R.

Also, be aware the the G is RWD, idk if the A3 is AWD or whatever but trading it out right before winter may not be the best idea. If I were you, keep it for a little and trade it in for a G37 since the G37 has a lot nicer interior/ better nav system, and also a bigger engine.

You never know though, GL with it

sorry if you misunderstood my post... by sportier, i meant more sporty feeling... like stiffer suspension, a more sporty looking/feeling interior, and stuff like that... basically not as cushy/luxurious feeling inside as the G... does that make sense

LOL The hard sell is gonna be tough on the forum of the car you are trying to swap. You should sell the social aspects and not the actual issues.

Good luck on the Audi.

I doubt anyone would take a downgrade in power, and go into a FWD/AWD from a RWD.

Seriously, wait a little and trade it in for a used G37 or G35 sedan. At first the looks are only ok, but they grow on you and look sick. And they are a lot more plush than the G35, and the nav system is 100x better.

With some work, it looks even better than the G35 IMO.
