Best Speed to go for most MPG.

About to embark on a long journey.
I have an 07 Coupe Manual. Just wondering what speed/rpm I should go for top mpg.

Edit : Used the search in both my350z and g35driver.
Lots of threads on the 350z forum not so much here.
Just curious if the gearing is different between the two cars? To make it different seems like 60 is best to go? Seems kinda slow for my taste especially for a long road trip. Any tips?

Not sure about 6MT's but I got MY best mileage between 69-72 MPH.... I stayed on the 72 side and got about 430 on a full tank... I'm sure you can sqeeze a couple more out of your MT.

62MPH in 6th gear always works for me in most of my cars. I haven't gone through my first tank yet in my 04 Sedan, but I am at 360 miles and the gas light has not come on yet...

on my last trip from CA to TN I went around 60MPH n I only filled up gas around 4 times I believe.. N didn't spend more than 500 bucks.
I know it's a pain to see lots of cars passes by especially trucks! LOL but it's all worth it tho.. Save lot of money..

Survival vs MPG....?

I would hate to drive at 50 or 60 MPH on the interstate you'd probably get run over. I feel to get good mileage and survive your trip the best mpg can be achieved by using your cruise control and going with the flow of traffic weather it's 65 or 70 MPH....you gotta be consistent!
