Think about it, folks. If people just came to the forum and ONLY "searched", this would officially die as I very seldomly see a NEW topic. If you've heard it all and it REALLY bothers you that NEW people come in and ask a question that maybe you've heard before, maybe it's time for YOU to retire from the forum...

It takes a lot more energy to see a thread a tell someone to search than it does to not comment. Plus its a way you can suggest it without lookn like an a$$.
thank you... at last somebody that has a lot of sense... i totally agree with you 100%...

I disagree... I think it makes more sense to keep the topic in one thread so its easier for people to find answers when they are researching... it so happens that this topic has a recent thread that was getting updated posts daily...

To start a virtually identical thread makes it more difficult for new owners looking for this type of stuff and they have to spend twice as much time sorting between two (or more threads) just to see if one of them has something the other one doesn’t.

You have to remember - some threads are more social in nature and some are more technical... trust me - it’s much easier when you are looking for serious stuff to have clear concise easy to find info.

But maybe I don’t know **** - the nearly 4 years and boatloads of mods (that required even more boatloads of research) probably doesn’t warrant my opinion on the matter.

not if you have Motordyne Iso Termal spacer with the Aramid gasket

You can lay your hand flat on the face of the plenum after an hour of heavily spirited driving and its not even uncomfortable much less burn

yeah 4 years and mods have nothing to do with ETIQUETTE. You make a good point but it's still a way to be courteous and point ppl in the right direction. Simply typing "search" is MORE confusing than what you are describing because the search function brings up EVERY time that key word comes up. At the very least, its more helpful to provide a link or something...or even perhaps help with key words from the Vets, like yourself.

that’s why I posted #7... so the "search" suggestion would be civil and the OP wouldn’t have to wear a flame suite...

I don’t think the search police would have been in force like it was if the subject wasn’t so recent (in another thread) with multiple pages...

In many cases mods combine threads that are the same topic... this should have been one.
