That part is labeled as "License Bracket Cover" Part# 622A0AM800 $14.43 list price. It does not show in my database as order by color so you'll have to pay a body shop to paint it if your dealer cannot get it in your color.

If you just purchased the car, look in the glove box, in the trunk, spare tire well or any other place you can think of. They ussually removed them at the dealership when they install the front license tag mounting bracket and put them in the glove box or spare tire well with the tow hook and jack. Worth a try, before you go thru all the trouble in getting a new one.

Does anyone know what color it comes since it is not painted? i was told it would be almost 100 painted which seems crazy.

since the car is about to go though winter and i dont feel like painting it before then. thanks

If the body shop assumed 1 hour of labor to paint the piece, which includes not just spraying the part, but mixing the paint, clearcoat, prep, etc, then yes, it would be just shy of $100.

$14 part
$40/hr labor
$30/hr material
$3 haz mat
$5 flex additive
+tax

$~100

Depending on how your dealer parts counter is with you, it might be worth it to throw out the idea to them to get 4-5 of these parts done at the same time and split the refinish cost. It won't cost any more in paint or time to do 5 of them than it does 1 of them since they will need to mix up the same amount of paint regardless, then the shop could keep those painted items in inventory for other customers to resell them (at a markup since they are painted).
