I'm hispanic and I've got a clue, as a matter of fact I consider myself a pretty capable driver. Not cool to make geralizations like that, I'm sure there must be a few Asians on here as well.

I would have called the cops if he was just taking off... then try to pull him over.

If you live in Socal you'd def. know that that is far from a generalization. It's def. true out here!

seniors look around you at how the majority of our populace drives....scarey!
Sorry about your accident, tell your insurance company what really happned
and how he basically cut you off.

I get it, I've been to SoCal and yes the general Hispanic population is much different than here in NY. I believe there's some truth behind some stereotypes, although often exaggerated, but this forum caters to a crowd of all types, from all over (not just SoCal) and the comment was inappropriate. No harm though, just trying to advocate respect for all G lovers here, at least we got that in common.

That sucks but you can finally get a new paint job. The body shop will have to replace your hood, fender, bumper and headlight. Find a quality body shop and your G will look new again.

Belt Parkway at night and 60-65 mph?

The Belt is like a rollercoaster for most of its length with tight, often blind, turns and continually crumbling roadway.

Don't tell your insurance company or a cop how fast you were going. I can't think of any part of the Belt where 60 or 65 are legal.

I definately would have had the cops take all the information down to cover my ***. NY is a 'no fault' state. There was an accident and HE left the scene.

Actually I don't think so. I beleive his front end is setup for straight swaps on coupe parts except the fender. So he can buy whatever hood and bumper are made to fit a coupe and it should bolt right up. His fender didn't look damaged.
