Ok, as you can tell I am new to thee Forums, so Hello. I have been searching on G35 stuff for about a month now since I am trying to buy one. So far what I have found is a 06 IP G35 Coupe with the Premium Package, Aero Package, and Sports Package,sunroof, no nav. It has right at 25000 miles and he wants 23000 for it(dealership). There is a small half inch paint chip under where the license plate goes but it's in the top of the crevice so it's hard to see, and also a small inch ding in the door(just ding, paints ok). it's automatic as well. I really want to buy this vehicle but it will be pushing my budget pretty close. So Im wondering if this is a good deal, and if I decide to do somethiing different what are my options??

I don't mind getting a year or two older of this vehicle, but from what ive read you cant get the 04's with the sport package that has the 19" rims, and 05's won't have projector lamps. If I went with an 04, how much would it cost to buy the rims from an 05+, and are there any other significant differences? same if I went with an 05, I've found projector lamps are around 500-600, anything else significantly different besides not having bluetooth?

You can buy projectors for 100(if your lucky)-250 easy. They probably will be recalled, buy all you have to do is re-adjust the aim because they are aimed to high and your set. They are just plug in and play. I would get an 05 if you are getting an auto.

The only things added on 06 were:
New sport-only bumper
Projectors
New Taillights
Bluetooth.

Yes, it is easily done. However, getting the Trunk release switch to work (the one next to the reverse light on the 06 tails) take a lot of work to get it working. The one on your remote still works though.

 

keyless entry system but damn where are u from???? i bought mine for 32k out the door with nav 17k miles 06 IP sports package and bluetooth cap..thats cheap for u i would pick it up in a heart beat but thats just my opinion..good luck to you and just go with your instincts.

 

You can find cheaper... Look around some more... I got mine a year ago, premium with navi for $19700. You should be able to find an 05 for $21000.

The headlights are a pain to switch out, but the tails take about 15 mins...
I got my headlights for $150 and had to buy bulbs off ebay for $40... The tails were $200...

 

You can find 19's for around $1000
Oh and although the stock 19's are nice, for the same price you can find some great aftermarket wheels...
