I have been struggling with this for over couple of months. I bought a 03 'INFINITI
G35 , Sedan, Sport Suspension.

Current tires(Good year RS- A) gone bad and have to replace them. I am not able to select some good tires. Can you please help me select some.

I have 215/55/17 on my car right now. I live in IL and need an all season tire.

I thought of going with Michellin's primacy MXV4 ("H" rated), Ppl say, not to go with H rated for V rated recommended cars.

Then I am looking for Yokohoma S drive, yk520, or Avid 4s. Can you please suggest me.

Also can I go with 225/50/17 on my car.

 

you can go with 225/55 or 235/50. Check out the RE960AS pole positions, they are a little pricey but a GREAT high performance all-season tires and come with a 40k mile warranty.

All of those Yoko tires you listed are middle of the road. The MXV4's came stock on some G35 coupes with 17" wheels and are OK tires at most. You SHOULD be looking for V rated tires, but H will suffice, they are rated to somewhere around 115mph if memory serves me correct, so as long as you're not doing high speed runs, you'll be fine with H rated tires.

If i were you, i'd order these right now, like this minute, you wont find a better bang for your buck. The michelin Pilot A/S are comparable to the Bridgestone RE960's i listed but at a fraction of the cost.

"H" rated tires are fpr speed limit 139mph. What bothers me is, ppl saying, H rated will nt be as crisp as V rated are, in handling for sport sedan.

 

that is true as well, i wouldnt expect an H rated tire to perform like a V rated tire. Either way, you should order those Pilot Sport A/S's right now if you're ready to buy tires.

Thanks A Lot dude, I bought the Michelin pilot sport for 118$ each as you suggested. Stil have to get the on and see what difference it makes.I currently have a Good year RS- A on it and it staggering a lot from couple of days.
