Please help, engine turns over, but won't start
I just got the car back from a theft recovery (don't ask). The battery was missing, so I just replaced it. At first I had to re-program the factory keyless entry remote, but after finding out how to do that, the car still won't start. The horn also does not work, not when arming the car with the remote, nor when pushing the horn button on the steering wheel. The security light acts normal, except when trying to start the car, the light stays on constant. After some searching it sounds like the ivis/nats is active, but the remote is working to disarm and I have the original key. Is the horn part of the ivis/nats system? Yes, I checked the fuses. Any other ideas, or do I have to take it to the dealer on a flatbed?
Thanks in advance! |
