From an 03 Cobra to a 06+ G35?

I just sold my 03 Cobra that I had for years. I had a few mods done to it that made it a 450 rwp monster. I am seriously considering buying a 06+ G35 sedan, I drove it and it doesn't get pissed off like my Cobra, but was curious if anyone made the transition and what they did to up the hp on their g35..

Do you need HP??

I went from an '03 Mustang GT to my '06 G35x and never looked back. The GT is a faster car, but the G35x is fast enough to keep me from getting bored.

But it's still not fast enough...so i'm working on a Fox mustang with 03/04 Cobra drivetrain and IRS to satisty my thirst for HP

That's quite a change! I assume you needed 4 doors. Ford doesn't exactly have many great options in the RWD sports sedan segment.

I don't think you are going to get that same grunt with the G unless you go turbo or supercharger. You can get another 20hp or so with bolts ons and a tune. Anything more than that, you need boost. Which is looking at $4000-$5000 used

This 3.5L V6 does not get **** off like the Cobra. Not much HP will get out of bolts on and big bucks too. Boosted is a must if you're thirsty for HP but still, need deep pocket. I'm sure that you will love it in a different way, people will love you in different ways as well.
