How to remove aftermarket black paint from front grill?
#18
I have nearly completed fixing the grille.
I have filled the holes with putty, sanded the whole grille, painted 7 layers with a high-gloss black spray, and done a few layers of clear coat. It's on the car now and awaiting the Infiniti badge whenever the dealership gets it in (it's supposed to be today). It looks very good and you can't see where any of the holes were.
I'll take a pic after the badge is in. I took a pic after the clear coat dried while the grille was still on the drop sheets in my basement, but you can't see any detail because the drop cloths are black so they blend into the grille.
