I changed my spark plugs last week and noticed the oil pooling up in the plug tunnel. So I called the dealership and they said that they'll replace the valve covers since its still under the PT warranty. Also, I noticed that the plugs were burned kinda right where the insulation meets the metal. The tips also looked like the car was running real lean. I asked the tech to check that out as well...
I get a call this morning saying that the car ran really hot at some point before which caused some internal damage. Don't really know what exactly but they advised me that the car probably needs a new motor. With no questions asked , he said that he'll make it look like it was warranty work.
But since he's doing me a favor, he isn't in a big hurry to get it done. Kinda upset me but I've been driving an '08 G35 sedan so I can't really complain.
Soooooo...Dick Smith Infiniti in Columbia, SC has some good people workin there.

Sounds like you've got nothing to complain about. Grats on the new engine. I'd take that.
