By the way, now that I've delved into the car community, I see a lot of people doing this ricey **** and it makes me sick.

Sure it's fun to mod your car...but TASTEFULLY...goddamn don't make it look retarded...electric blue door handle lights DO NOT go with your silver paint scheme and makes ur car look RICEYYYYY

If they swapped the engine. There's a 5.4L V8 G35 out there, and since it no longer has a 3.5L V6 it's a G54 if you keep going by engine size.

More torque, more horses, more pistons, more dispalcement. VK45. Same engine in the M45.

Are you sure its the 5.4L and not the 5.6L VK56 from the nissan titan, thats what they usually use, 5.4L I think would correspond to a Ford V8.... I may be wrong.

Sounds to me like you don't really love your G, and you wish you would've bought a Camaro or a Corvette...or a GTO.

I wish my G had a boosted straight 6 if you really want to get technical.

Has anyone attempted a 2j swap in a G?

Just because somebody says they wouldn't mind their G w/ a v-8, and your telling them they don't like their G?
That's quite a lot to read just from somebody's post, what are you a psychotherapist?? He probably loves his G and wouldn't mind the hp/tq/sound of an 8cyl - who wouldn't? Even so, it still wouldn't be like a vette, camaro, or gto...
BTW- nobody is talking about boosted straight sixes, however we are talking about v-8's........if you wan't to get technical.
