Parts/Mod Questions

Fast Intentions High Flow Cats 500
Circuit Sports Aluminum Front Strut Bar or 135
Stillen Front Strut Bar 239.15
5/16" Copper Iso Thermal plenum spacer 274.99
HID Xenon Bulbs D2R-6000k 58
Stillen Z-Tube Intake Kit 241.77
Pulstar Pulse Plug: DG-1 (6) or 149.7
NGK Iridium IX Spark Plugs (6) 50
Bosch Cabin Air Filter #P3784 24.99
Stillen Front and Rear Sway Bars 286.42
Stillen Grounding Kit-Red 79.95
Z1 Stainless Steel Clutch Line 37
DC Sports Ceramic Coated Headers 529.32
Ciruit Sports Front & Rear Main Under Brace 139.9

With Spring Coming up, these are the mods that I plan on doing. The question is, is there a certain part, where someone would recomend a different brand or something in its place? And if you would tell me the prices I have listed if they are reasonable or not? If i can find better prices to save money, the better.Thank you

I also need to do my brakes, and was planning on buying AMS ceramic pads (i do have brembos). What would be my best bet for pads and rotors, while keeping down on the dust.

BTW my car is an 03 coupe.

Thank you

You can get this cheaper from Riverside Infiniti. Mine is arriving today and I paid $240 shipped. You can PM Tony or Rick from Riverside and they'll get you a quote. And you don't need the Copper ISO upgrade unless you live where it gets cold in the winter.

You can get the same peformance with an OEM Z-Tube and a K&N Filter for about half this price. The Stillen kit looks nicer, but the stock airbox is pretty efficient despite claims by those wanting to sell you an upgrade. Take the money you'll save and get an 06+ airbox from a G. It has a short velocity stack that's absent on the older G's.

This is a very good price, almost too good. This usually goes for around $120. Grounding Gear makes a better kit, but the best kit out there is probably made by a http://www.nicoclub.com/ forum member named SilentByDesign. I'm getting his kit, which should also arrive today or tomorrow . Search that forum and you'll find it. Either of these 2 kits will cost more, but seeing as you're already dropping $2500+ on mods, what's another $50?

Ditch the Circuit Sports braces and go with the GT Spec bracing.

Don't even consider Pulstar plugs. Do a search and you will see why. Stick with the OEM plugs. Also, I prefer Hotchkis sways....maybe that's because I have them.

's just me personally but i'd skip half your list. It's hard to see what your trying to do. I'd skip buying new bulbs and opt'ing to upgrade to '06 projectors instead for a cleaner look (unless you already have. I dont know). I'd also pass on the grounding kit as its mostly the automatic folk who feel any difference.

The Motordyne spacer is always a good choice but instead of HFC's and headers, I'd get a new exhaust (HKS comes to mind). Again, you may have already done this. My understanding is that the headers part of the job may be labor intensive and waiting until a clutch/flywheel change may be better.

As for the bracing, strut bar and sway bars, it's probably overkill (just my .02). At close to $700 (your prices ), your close to a set of coilovers.

Tony or Rick at Riverside Infiniti can hook you up on some slotted Stoptech rotors and Hawk Pads that work well with our Brembos and keep dust to a minimum.

Im just looking to add a little performance to the car, while keeping it clean and fun to drive. Thanks for the advice, I will def look into an exhaust and 06 projectors...Also I will contact for the brakes, thanks again. And I just replaced my clutch/flywheel, so i decided to put more money into the car.
