Leather split on driver seat - warranty cover it??

I just noticed a split, about 3/4" in the leather on my drivers seat. It not in an area I sit on - it's just below the seam that runs into the power seat switches. It seems there's kind of an edge or corner there that likely caused the split. Think this is covered or will my dealer tell me its just normal "wear and tear"??

Yup, they replace my seat bottom cushion and leather. Looked a little odd at first with a brand new seat bottom and an old backrest. Just make sure you do it before your 4 years/60000mi warranty ends.

If it's expiring, then check out EVERYTHING so it can all be fixed. And I mean everything, even if it doesn't appear to be that bad. Check out the stereo, open and close every window and door, every function on the climate system, all your lights, external and internal, check the seat function all the way forward, back, up, down, in, out, whatever. Bounce all 4 corners of the car to check the shocks, look over the engine thoroughly for any signs of an oil leak (although the engine is covered for another 10K miles), check the exhaust for any leaks or weak spots that may look rustier than they should. You may not think something is covered, but they may cover it anyway, or maybe there's a TSB out there you didn't know about.

Good advice. I'm guessing that oxidation/hazing on the headlight lenses is not covered, right?
