how important is interior color to u?
Stone isn't tan, it's light grey....almost white.
I was contemplating changing the carpet and floormats to black. I have an '07 IS250 with the same white/black color scheme, but it has black carpet with the light seats and I think it looks sweet. But i haven't found anywhere i can pick up a black OEM carpet from (new or used)
Here's my stone interior

I really didn't care what color the interior was except that I spend a lot of time in my car and I would have destroyed the tan interior. I have a LR coupe with black interior, but I really like the way the tan interior looks with the LR exterior.
Eh, to each his own. I'm just glad I don't have Wheat interior (no offense to wheat owners
)
I almost didn't buy my 05 due the the lack of the charcoal interior.
To be honest, it has grown on me and has forced me to keep my interior pristine.
It's not as bad as I thought. Kind of like the executive look now.
Thank god the dash is black to give it that executive look.
Although, I do plan on doing a conversion when I find the parts.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

For me, I originally started out looking for black on black. But the more I saw black interiors, the more I didn't like the way they looked as they aged. They looked dirty and old IMO even when they were taken care of. When I found my car, I went "That's what I want". I have the stone with the black dash like Mustang 5L5 with LS exterior and the car looks great. Easy to keep clean and with almost 50000 miles it still looks brand new.
I would like to get black carpet at some point. THAT would look awesome.

They do come with Stone.
There is a IP sedan on ebay now with stone interior. Looking at it in a white car makes the grey leather look dark lol!
i bought my G from my mom and she likes the wheat interior, i on the otherhand HATE it... when i have the funds ill be swaping my entire interior dash included for black
Black interior with tinted windows = too dark for my taste.. Makes it really hard to see out at night and it's just too dismal.. And in the summer, it gets WAYYYYY too hot... I would rather not have 3rd degree burns because of my seats TYVM. I have the black/stone combo (black dash/steering wheel, stone seats/floors) and I love it. Works very well with my LP exterior...
But again, to each his own.

I really wanted a Twilight Blue Pearl exterior, but I wanted an 05-06, and they stopped putting the Graphite interior in the TBP's after 04, so I went with my second favorite combo, Diamond Graphite with Graphite.
Stone was never an option, too hard to keep the carpets clean. It does have the advantage of a black dash. Tan wasn't an option because it's a bad color and everything was Tan. Had it been a lot darker I would have considered it. But Black/Graphite was always my first choice.
Emerald Mist > Twilight-Graphite > Lakeshore-Graphite > Diamond-Graphite > everything else. I'd have scoured the country for a 2005+ Emerald Mist AWD. Too bad it never existed.

Really I just wanted a G35.
Exterior color was more important than interior. Although I would have paid more for black interior. But I'm glad I have the twilight blue coupe even with the crappy wheat interior.
