Question OB Sedan Tint

Hey guys I just picked up my OB 2007 G35x about 3 weeks ago (which I love by the way) and I'm scheduled to get her tinted next week. How should I get it split?

35% front -> 20% back
35% front -> 5% back
35% all around

I got pulled over in my Pontiac w/ 20% all the way around so I'm not going darker than 35 in the front. I'm in NY and the state troopers are pretty strict about it. If you guys have pics of the different combos that would be awesome.

Thanks

tint is tint.... if you get plulled over all the time, 35% is still illegal in NY. virtually from the factory our G windows are slightly tinted already.

this is 35% frnot and rear

I know it's still illegal but I think the fact that you can still visibly see the driver with 35% will help. With 20% you really can't see in at all.

That's a great picture, thanks. Anyone have a pic of tint split with it darker in the back?

ig you are going to go illegal anyway just get what you want. I have 20 front and 16 rear on my OB. Ride with the sun roof open and you can see in from outside.

Like I said, I'm definitely getting 35% in the front I'm just looking for opinions on what would look best to do with the back half. I loved having 20% all the way around too but I have an acquaintance who's a state trooper and he said that they tend not to bother people with what looks like 35% and lighter on the front.

My OB sedan was already tinted when I bought it, so I'm not exactly sure of the %s, but I'm told its around 20%. Whatever it is, I love the look and I'd recommend it to anyone.

35% film is about 27% on the glass on a G35.....at least mine is. I own a tint meter so i checked it out. (MA law is 35% all the way around btw)

I say do the same all around. I'm not a fan of split tint. I see cars all the time and think it looks odd. The 35%/20% split is close, but you can see the difference in the sunlight.

Like i said before, i went 35% all around and am happy with it. I'm not a fan of super dark tint anyway. With the sunroof open it looks a lot lighter....but i can only do that half the year
