I just purchased a 2005 G35X and love the car. My ride came with a aftermarket car starter and no user manual. I would like to read up on the installed unit but there are no manufacture markings ether on the inside or outside the fob. Can someone help identify the make and or model from the picture. My next step is to locate the control unit....... any guess where they may have put the controller before I get my screw driver out and start hunting around. Thanks for any help in this matter.

 

best bet is to locate the control module. it should be under the steering wheel. if they installed it good, then its gonna be buried. Just find the alarm switch and follow the wire to the control module.

 

I took the panel understeering the steering wheel off and found the control module. The sticker on the black box is very cryptic as the picture shows. I also included a picture of the antenna on the inside of the windshield. The back side of the module has a lighting bolt embossed on it. If anyone can help identify the product, that would be great.

I did some Gooogle searches and found out the company is G.I.T out of Montreal. I now have the wiring diagram and user manual.
