G35 vs. other G's...
Um Dude its either 5AT or 6MT the 03-07 are pretty much the same with a few tweeks to the interior and exterior no real engine upgrades hence 35! these cars get set apart from each other by the owners. hang around and you will some sick stuff done to the G. Now the 37 is something totally different. Some of these other fellas will chime in with some other tidbits!
When i started my hunt a few months ago for g's, I initially had my eye on the 35. Then, as all dealers will do, my attention was momentarily affixed on the 37 when I was at the stealership. But, what struck me the most about the 37, was how much I didnt care for the new body lines of the vehicle. The interior, imho, is fantastic. But the exterior... eh... not so much to my liking (thinking back, i think it was the headlights that really turned me off... no pun). In my opinion, the exterior of the 35 is still far MORE aesthetically appealing, than the 37. If they made a new 38, I think an exterior much like the 35 and an interior like the 37 would be the sweet spot.
oh.... and i'd like a free copy of top gear too... thanks!

I agree with the above
The G35 coupe is far more attractive to me than the G37. However, the 2nd gen interior is much improved in terms of ashetics and technology.
But just something about the G37's lines that does not appeal to me when i see one in traffic. I find a G35 to be much nicer on the outside.
With the sedan, i think year has been an improvements. I like 05-06 better than 03-04 and the 07+ looks even better. The sedans lines are perfect. The two cars look similar but the subtle changes make the car look fresh. The 2nd gen interior is also superior
I'd like a free top gear dvd too....unless it's the one where you guys took a Ford Lightning off-roading.

I have a 2004, the last year before the brembo's went away...That's one of the reasons why I like the year of my car the best...but damn...the future years had better interiors for sure.
Man, seriously, i dont know how many posts I read about this topic. Compare the G35 to the G37? Are you looking to buy one or what? If you are buying one, then it depends on your budget, i'd say both cars are great and nice. And if you are not buying one, then dont bother to compare them.
g35 is better than g37 cause it is really neat and so awesome.
The g37 is so cool too because it's pretty and furry and nice.
Either I get a free dvd or this thread is worthless. Can someone lock this?

im torn between the 2. the 37s are clean, and the 35 is my baby, i definately dont feel like an old version tho, they seem like 2 different cars in my opinion, but as for power i havent touched a 37 yet, and i just upgraded to my 35 from a 01 4cyl accord coupe, so the 35 is fast enough for me...for now......lol....
and how can i get a free dvd!

the interior may look better, but the cheapness factor seems MUCH higher in the 07+ G's. I've got an 03 sedan with 89k and everything looks perfect inside except the adhesive on the leather door inserts is kinda losing its grip. Then again its 7 years old... The 08 G loaner I got from Houston's abysmal Southwest Infiniti only had about 1/2 of the cheap rubbery, plasticky coating they put all over the steering wheel controls. The exterior door handle unlock button was already turning colors. I know it may be one of those abused loaner/rental cars we all know about, but still... for 1 year old and 17k I'd say that's the kind of premature wear you'd expect to find in a Cadillac... not to mention in the 03-04 there is a perfect balance of wood and cheap-ish "washi-aluminum" trim, while in any of the 05+ sedans, if you're lucky enough to find one with wood, it's EVERYWHERE...
