Looking for aftermarket ideas for my G?

Hey I got a 2006 G35 coupe awhile back and i'm loving it so sick for only being 23 years old, get lots of looks! But i'm looking for more ideas on engine stuff to make it more jumpy. I have cold air intake and full exhaust system already. I want to TT it someday but it wont be for awhile so i'm looking for more ways to get HP as much as I can without doing all the Turbo stuff yet. Maybe headers? maybe throttle body spacers? plz help me out dont really know to much I been a lifted truck guy for the last 4 years. thx guys!

If you already have an exhaust, the Motordyne plenum spacer is the only thing that will really net you anything significant. It is the single best performance mod for G35's in my opinion, and the owner Tony is a 100% stand-up guy.

Get 5/16" for more lower rpm to even power distribution, 1/2" for higher end power.

You may want to look into upgrading your suspension instead, you will see more performance in that department than anything else. Hotchki's sway bars, GT Spec braces, a nice set of coilovers (BC Racing makes a great cost effective coilovers)...

good luck

Forget the engine, upgrade the wheels and suspension.

Check out this thread for a lot of ideas.

Have fun trying to figure out what you want to do and when. Maybe you'll win the lottery and be able to do it all.

If you plan on going FI I wouldnt bother getting headers now and waste money. Sounds like you have all the NA stuff you should get. If it were me, and I KNEW i was going FI, I would start getting my supporting mods handled. Get your standalone engine management system (most go with an AEM EMS; there are others out there for sure), upgrade the fuel delivery system (FPR, fuel pump, injectors, plugs). Of course then there are your internals too.

Aside from your injectors and plugs, you could get the ems, fpr, and pump installed now and still be ok to drive around. Shoot, you may even be able to get it tuned a bit for a few more ponies.

Im not too well versed on the internals of these g motors so I wont even go into that. But, I'd make sure I had a solid bottom end as well if I were going FI.
