Question Water in my car??

A couple of weeks ago, it rained pretty badly at night.. and when I got in my car and stepped on my break.. some cold water dripped down on my foot. ( was wearing flip flops at that time).. do You think I have a leak where my window shield is? This has never happened to me before. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Was this just in one occassion? I would lay something down to catch the drips/drops and see if there is a large collection of water.

This happened on the passenger side of my car, which is a right hand drive. The grommet for the main wiring loom was loose and allowing water to come into the cabin. Lift the plastic trim pieces below the windshield, I think they're held in with plastic clips. Check to see if all the rubber plugs and grommets and correctly seated and sealing properly. I'd imagine there would be a (hopefully sealed) entry point under the windsheild on the drivers side of your car which is where the main wiring loom would enter for the right hand drive model.

I had this happen to my Grand Cherokee after a severe rain. Turns out the water drains were clogged. I'm not sure where they were (it's a work car so work paid for the repair and I wasn't involved).
