It says the text in the mag is Japanese. Guess I'd just look at the pretty pics. Come to think of it, I can do that on here for free!!

Hyper-revs are magazines that are huge parts catalogues, and shop car guides. They have a lot of tech articles sometimes, with long and detailed product descriptions. Usually the car shop/manufacturer's name and some of the specs are readable/in english. I saw one a while back at a book store, i wanted to buy it, just didn't have cash then.

They are at least 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
