Which perforated leather matches Infiniti leather?

Found a new sample. It's from China but I couldn't get any info on it at all.

A 100% match in thickness, shade and texture. Matches the vinyl and leather and it's also just as soft as the leather in the car so it would probably be easier to form it over the head rests and other curved areas.

Right now the only option is to dye the leather I already have to match everything else like the door panels and steering wheel and arm rest.

Is the leather you bought coated like the Infiniti leather?

^The seats are part vinyl part leather and the perforated part is the only part that is leather. I have no idea if the cars leather or vinyl is coated. To me it looks the same as the coating the leather hide and sample have.

Weather the sample or the hide I have is coated isn't a concern for me. The cars windows will be tinted with ceramic tint so weather the leather I plan on using is coated or not is not a concern for me.

I hate the G35 interior materials. It's like this pleather crap. Pretty bad for a "luxury" car. My girlfriends new Honda Civic has nicer seats than my G.

^I think it's actually okay quality at least on 05+ ones and the vinyl is actually durable with regular cleaning. I actually got compliments on the cars interior from 3 people. GF, best friend and my former realtor who said it was pretty good in comparison to his VW Touareg and Patheon.

05-06 is not so bad. It's a bit modest for some people but I don't need a bubble bath every time I drive the car.

Japan models with different color options but US is the same.

I love the orange leather!! It also looks like a different type (maybe softer) and is tucked differently.

Reminds me of the FX option.

Today I got a phone number for some leather hide supplier in NC that also deals with international suppliers including China. He agreed to let me send him a sample of the swatch I have so they can match it and I'll send it out today and hopefully have a match by Monday. If they have a match they can also provide it in different colors and the FX color option might finally be available for the sedan also.

Interesting Thread.
I'm sure this will help out a lot of ppl in a few years when all the seats start dying.
Heck my 04 seats are already kinda looking at me for help.

I just feel bad for the cows being perforated before being killed and turned into seats.
At least they're going to a G

Pretty sweet stuff, man!

How hard is it to replace the leather? Expensive?

I got quoted $200 per seat but I will take out the seats myself. The upholstery shop works on cars mainly and they did some old school cars with new full OEM interiors.

I got back a sample. It matches 100% in shade and 100% in texture on the dash and doors but not the seats. And there is also no perforated hide available. I could use the hide I have that is perforated and a hide of the sample I received. I could also maybe send a hide from this sample to have it perforated somewhere.

I also sent another sample to another supplier so they might have something better.

Eh, that orange is a little too burnt for me...haha.

I've always loved tan leather interiors. I also really like the dark brown option on the new M.

This is another sample from another supplier. Don't like the quality of it.
