I have an 05 got both. My OEM Rays are powder coated just pick them up today. And have Bats overlays, but I'm not going to use the headlights just the tails. I'm gonna paint my headlights black and do Demon Eyez.

BTW the overlays you have pics of I think are for 03-05 you have different headlights and different taillights.

I agree with MJs idea. The bat overlays in the rear only. I think the headlight overlays look kinda weird (just my opinion). But I do like your idea for the powder coating of the stock wheels, I think that will look very nice.

DO IT DO IT!

i really want to do this idea, should i powder coat the rims or get black to match the car? im thinking long term savings because where i live in NYC the curbs are broken and easy to scratch even the most careful of parkers. so id like to have touchup paint for them so i dont have to pay someone to repair it anytime.i heard with poder coating you cant fix it yourself really cuz of what its made of? true or false?

You can't really fix powder coating as when it comes off there is a thin layer gone from the wheel.

It is however a lot tougher than paint and holds up better against brake dust and other road grime.

Get the lighter overlays for the tailights. It looks much better. The wheels would look good.

^^^ I know what you mean, im from staten island. Anyway Bat has a option of a lighter or darker overlays for the tailights. The lighter ones look better bcus it still shows a bit of red of the tailights.

The dark ones just look cheap to me and reminds of those impala's not a skyline or anything.
