WTF is wrong with me!

So I just bought a 05 OB Coupe 6 M/T with only 27k miles on it for under 20k$. But now I am getting a little buyers remorse, I am only 20 years old and still in college but I work at Johnson and Johnson and make more than enough money to afford the car; however, I am thinking maybe I can wait on owning a car like this...what are your guys thoughts. Any suggestions from the more experienced? Do not get me wrong I am practically obsessed with my car, but I can not help but hear that voice in the back of my head saying "Dude, your in college your car should be a honda or toyota POS!"

Thanks in advance for any help.

I feel you man, I'm in a similar situation but I got over it quickly by enjoying the car. I'm 22 and work at one of the largest pharma companies in the world (hired on my college graduation day) and although I CAN afford it I felt it was too nice for me. But then I started romping on it pretty much as often and as safe as possible and I'm happy. There are always haters, just do what feels right and enjoy your new toy.

Whaaat! Dude seriously wtf. Just be happy you have a nice car, and if you feel like its too good for you, then its even better. I always want nice things, and i always work hard to get things and i always am happy i got it. So enjoy it, you are obiviouly qualified to have a nice job so you are good enough for a G.

I was in the same boat as you when I bought my car 3 weeks ago. I was used to having a lot of money saved from my part time job in a hospital, which gave me a rather modest salary even though I only worked 2 days a week. I am currently a full time college student and well now I technically AM able to afford this car.. insurance+gas+maintenance but I just felt like I could have spent my money better but everytime I look at my car and drive in it those thoughts pretty much go away...

Some times you have to use your money and just enjoy your life.

Also to mention, I'm in a community college and practically everyone here has a BMW/Mercedes/Luxury Car so!!

Yeah, i know how you feel. I bought my G in march as a replacement for my 91, 210k mile 240 (had for about 7 years). I am loving the G, but I hop in the 240 sometimes and miss the simplicity and the cost (essentially nothing to operate and maintain.) But, the more i've been driving the G, the more I feel like i made the right move.

You my new friend got a bad azz car and my advice is to enjoy the hell out of it!!! Don't regret your decision, just treat your new baby like a girl you just started dating. Get to know her, learn her strengths and weaknesses, accept her for what she is and don't try to make her something she's not, and my guess is you will fall madly in love with her.

I still stare at my car every time I leave it and can't wait to drive it again. Four years old and she keeps getting better and better looking every day.

Just my .02............

Uber, don't feel guilty. What's done is done. You shouldn't sell it now anyway because you'll take a loss on it, so just enjoy it and assuage that guilt by taking very good care of it so it lasts a long time.

ive owned my G for over a year now im in college with about 45k in student loans built up just for tuition alone. I paid 22k for my G with only 8k miles on it. I work over nights fulltime to afford my toys. You shouldnt be driving a ****ty toyota or honda just because ur in college. If you want to go to college and only work in the summer like most lazy college students do then by all means go buy urself a pos for 2k! if u can afford it enjoy it life is short!

The only downside to having this car is paranoiya(sp) you wont be able to park it for long periods where you cant see it and you will fear that something or someone is going to mess with it! Sheesh but my trusty Honda i park it anywhere, LOL! Get the Car dude you wont regret it especially when your cruising around after shes washed up!

I don't have a clue what's wrong with you! You're on college making a decent wage and driving a great car, other than having the best looking girl on campus what more could you ask for? You have it made, stay in college until you get your Masters. In 10 years you'll be sitting behind a desk driving some exotic ride....life is good....enjoy!
