access port question

access port question
so is there anything out there that does pretty much the same thing as an access port just doesnt cost as much ive heard of an ecotech but dont really know anything about it.
Does the power pup work for 1st gen? www.bullydog.com, some of us are running it on our 2nd gens.
My results are good so far, although I'm a little concerned after readying that Suby blew his engine (running the Cobb tune, FYI)
