Not Driving G for 6 Weeks...Bad?

I am away at training right now for 6 weeks. I left my G back at home. Is there anything wrong with not driving it for this long? Is there anything that I need to do to it to protect it? Or how often should I have my parents start it up or drive it?

6 weeks isn't that bad..I would have them start it once a week for about 10 minutes..that's probably a little excessive..

If someone can drive it at least once every two weeks, you will be fine. Just be sure that they drive it long enough to heat up the oil properly. At least 20 minutes. If you can't do that, just have the oil changed right before you go, and either disconnect the battery or get one of the "Battery Companions" from Walmart. It's a little "float" type charger and it maintains your battery at 13.8 volts all the time, just perfect for storage. I also recommend you get a "breathable" car cover.

There's a couple thing I'd do after it sat for six weeks, let it warm up for no less than 5 minutes. Check the tire pressure and add a bottle of Red Line fuel injector cleaner to the gas tank....and drive it. If the battery was good and it ran well before parking it you shouldn't have any issues....

6 weeks is nothing. I've gone 3-4 months on cars without starting. I just kept a trickle charge on the battery.
