difference between from 05+ from 03-04 models

i recently bought a 04 g35 coupe and i love it. but i was just curious to know why does a 05+ models when you press on the gas pedal it takes off and seems like it has a lot more torque then the 04 model. Yet the 05 have the same engine. why is that?

If you say so. The only difference was in the 5AT to 6MT comparison.

210 kW (286 PS; 282 hp) and 365 N·m (269 lb·ft) in the coupe. thats the same for the 04 coupe AT and the 05-06. yet when you gas on the 05-06 it takes off a lot faster then the 04 coupe? i followed the link and theyre about the same output
