Safelite just did mine last week for $214.00. One piece of advice - check your car very carefully afterward. The tech was in a big hurry to leave after doing mine and I found out why the next morning. 2 inch long slice in my dash across the defroster opening. Local office and Corporate Customer Service have been very accomodating and I am dropping the car off today to get dash repaired. I got the impression that this is a very common thing for them to slice a dash. Just pissed me off that the tech did not have the decency to tell me he damaged it.

Mine came to at least $250 (my deductible). Of course, I'm about 80 miles from their office, which was convenient that they could do it in the parking lot while I worked.

Would have been cheaper if I dropped it off.

thats a pretty cheap price... do you know is safelite uses glass made from China? A buddy of mine has a shop and that glass from China always chipped/cracked easily.

from their website:

We manufacture and install OEM-equivalent, or OEE, auto glass. This means that it is essentially the same piece of glass that is installed at the time your vehicle is made, with the only difference being the windshield manufacturer.

Our glass meets or exceeds all federal, industry and safety standards, and we engage in some of the most rigorous product testing in the industry.
