Some questions on a G35s sedan

I have a stock '09 Mazdaspeed3 and thinking about selling/trading it for a certified pre-owned G35s sedan.

In terms of acceleration, are the G35s and G37s about the same? I realize the newer model has ~25 more hp, but it also weighs more.

I'm considering the G35s due it being less expensive vs a G37s with the same features. What are the advantages to the G37s?

Are there specific issues with the G models?

Thank You

Not a big difference between them. Test drive them, best way to know.

You'd be taking quite a hit to sell a brand new car. I'd keep the ms3. It's as quick as a g35 and it has more cargo room. A co-worker of mine has one and I am always surprised what that 2.4 liter turbo can do.

Some dealers are paying over blue book for pre-owned cars and are motivated to move their stock.

That said, I know I'll take a hit. If the numbers on both cars make some sense, I'd consider the deal.

I thought a pre-owned/certified '07 from an Infinity dealer would be the way to go. The warranty is peace of mind.

I look foward to a test drive.

I've been in both cars. Just make sure you look at one with the sports suspension. It will have a 'S' badge on the back. The ms3 has much less body roll in stock form from what I could feel.
