tire life?

hey everyone, my g still has original tires.

its a 2005 with 18000 miles.

the previous owner babied it apparently because the tires arnt worn that much.

the fronts say they were made on the 28th week of 05 and the rears say on the 30th week of 05.

my question is are these tires still safe? should i be looking for new ones ?

there is slight cracks but normal wear.

all imput is apreciated!!

Welcome to Driver CME....!

If you just drive on surface streets and never hit the interstate or freeways they maybe alright however, four years old with cracks I'd replace them. I've made this statement before, "Your life may depend on what's between you and the road!" Worn or cheap tires are not worth risking you life for....

Tires usually aren't good past 5 years. The rubber dried and they become a hazard. They will sling apart and destroy your body around the wheels

Max 10 years, widely considered safe up to 6 years.
