question about plenum

sorry if this isnt in the correct spot . but my question is.. can the upper plenum be powdercoated gloss black?..if so..what would the price range maybe be? sorry if question is noobish..reason being..i have a black nismo short ram so just wondering if i can get it powder coated black instead of polishing it..

Yes, but I'd have it polished first. That'll give it the nice and smooth texture. sxexcx offers great polishing services at great prices. Should be around $50-$75.

If you want the black to look smooth to match your intake, it needs to be polished before you coat it. Since the polishing doesnt need to be a mirrir finish, I could do it pretty cheap. Let me know.

The upper plenum can be powdercoated. I had mine done in gloss black with a Nismo CAI. It doesn't have to be polished beforehand if you don't mind the orange peel texture although I think it would look better if you did. I'll vouch for the quality of Sean's polishing work.

You can polish without the mirror finish? How's that look by itself?
