i havent got the spacer yet but when i get it i will let you guys know. And yes they are that crappy do now waste your money on one lesson learne here.

why what are the troubles caused... (cons and pros) they sell those 1000$ on there site why would it be a piece of crap?

as stated, there are different models......

The one you see for a grand is probably the SSV....wayyyyyyyy different

I think what he was saying is that if its all beat to hell its still can be used for performance. The ssv's are meant to look good and really shine up the compartment. So if you dont care about how it looks and its not in decent shape putting it on wont hurt. On the other hand if its banged up ill take it for 80 bux shipped. Let me know

the one that i bought is cracked in a couple of the screw holes. I have the plastic looking one, the ssv is alot better but im not going to spend that kind of money.

lolll no mine has been in a car fire but I've sent it to powder coating and painted it black... it looks nice... just need a Kinetix chrome sticker to put on it and i'll be fine..

For the future he probably cracked his plenum because he tightened the bolts in a linear pattern rather then criss-crossing it. When I re-installed my stock plenum and forgot to criss-cross the bolts when tightening them, and tightened them in a linear pattern i cracked my stock plenum. Stupid mistake I know, but I am sure the OP did the same exact thing.

For FI they have shown gains – for NA they have not (in some cases lost).
